Playroom Window Treatments and Pillows

Our latest project in Cassity’s home was the playroom for her three kiddos. Cassity found the brown, orange & lime green print and loved it so much she decided to buy 6 yds on the spot.

The problem was we needed a bit more to make window treatments for the playroom.  So we decided to add a band of this adorable cartoon animal print in order to have enough length.

I loved the two fabrics together but thought something was needed to separate the two. I decided to add a 1.5″ orange grosgrain ribbon as an accent. It was the perfect finishing touch!

Cassity also asked for a couple of casual, pieced-together pillows made from any leftover scraps.

The leftover scraps were just that…scraps. Teeny tiny scraps. So I searched through my scraps and found a few more equally teeny tiny scraps and pieced them together.

Other projects from Cassity’s home…Sentimental Antique Doors and Living Room Window Treatments.

I promise one of these days you’ll see more photos of Cassity’s beautiful home instead of just the projects. I can tell you, it’s not for lack of trying! So hopefully, one day soon.
