A few weeks ago Scott and I decided to take off on a Saturday morning and hit an estate sale or two. As you can tell by the lack of foliage that this was, indeed, several weeks ago and way before Spring had Sprung in the state of Oklahoma.
I grabbed my camera as we headed out the door and thought I’d share just a few of the pics I made that day.
Scott’s a coffee drinker. I’m not. My morning caffeine usually takes the form of Dr. Pepper.
Coral Chucks and a country road. The long, non-winding variety common in Oklahoma.
The mandatory pic of yourself in the side mirror while on a road trip. Even a short one.
The best part of the estate sale was the view. I didn’t buy a thing.
Wish I could see this in it’s full spring glory!
When I saw this field with it’s row of hay bales lined up like soldiers I made Scott turn around so I could take pics. The turning around and stopping took several attempts.
This kind of thing is outside my husband’s comfort zone. If I can snap a picture as he drives by while barely slowing down he’s happy. That didn’t happen so he had to stop.
Stopping along side the road, or worse yet parking beside someone’s property, while I get out and walk around taking pictures is his version of a nightmare.
But did he complain?
Not one time!
I love that man! 31 years and counting!
