Joshua and Elizabeth
This beautiful bride is my niece, Libby, my sister Stacy and her husband Keith’s oldest child and only daughter. Aren’t they a precious couple?
Josh and Libby were married in June. We have so many wonderful photos from this special day that I can’t possibly share them all so here are just a few of my favorites.
The week before the wedding we had a very unexpected event. Emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix and a subsequent 7 day stay in the hospital for my 4 yr old niece, Hannah. It was quite a week.
3 Sisters and Cousin
Hannah’s Mom, my SIL Amanda, was to be the wedding coordinator. Since Amanda was at the hospital 24-7 taking care of Hannah, Libby asked if I would step in. I’ve NEVER coordinated a wedding in my whole life. Never. Not once.
But I was glad to help and of course, said yes. And then quickly recruited my sister, Sheri as my assistant. 🙂
The photographer captured me taking a pic of my girls, Karianne, Kaleigh and Courtney with Libby.
One of my most favorite Wedding Memories
Libby and Josh chose not to see each other before the ceremony but wanted to have a special prayer together. Paying close attention to ensure Josh couldn’t see her, they held hands around the door frame while Josh prayed for their day and the beginning of their life together. I’m crying again just typing this!
The Handsome Groom and Groomsmen
The Beautiful Bride and Bridesmaids
Bride, Groom and Pastor…aka Uncle Matt
Hannah is now her precious, prefect little self. She had quite a recovery but we are so very thankful for God’s healing touch. Hannah’s Dad, my brother Matt, performed the ceremony. He performed Courtney and Drew’s wedding, as well. We’ve decided it’s now a family tradition. There’s only 12 more grandchildren to go. 🙂
The wedding was sweet and perfect. I can now add wedding coordinator to my “I’ve done that!” list.
Another special memory from Josh and Libby’s wedding. Isn’t this precious?
See that adorable Bride and Groom Table in the corner? More on how that came about and reception details coming up next.
