Wedding Highlights

Mr & Mrs

Joshua and Elizabeth

This beautiful bride is my niece, Libby, my sister Stacy and her husband Keith’s oldest child and only daughter. Aren’t they a precious couple?

Josh and Libby were married in June. We have so many wonderful photos from this special day that I can’t possibly share them all so here are just a few of my favorites.

The week before the wedding we had a very unexpected event.  Emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix and a subsequent 7 day stay in the hospital for my 4 yr old niece, Hannah. It was quite a week.

3 Sisters and Cousin

Hannah’s Mom, my SIL Amanda, was to be the wedding coordinator. Since Amanda was at the hospital 24-7 taking care of Hannah, Libby asked if I would step in. I’ve NEVER coordinated a wedding in my whole life. Never. Not once.

But I was glad to help and of course, said yes. And then quickly recruited my sister, Sheri as my assistant. :)

My girls

The photographer captured me taking a pic of my girls, Karianne, Kaleigh and Courtney with Libby.

PreWedding PrayerOne of my most favorite Wedding Memories

Libby and Josh chose not to see each other before the ceremony but wanted to have a special prayer together.  Paying close attention to ensure Josh couldn’t see her, they held hands around the door frame while Josh prayed for their day and the beginning of their life together. I’m crying again just typing this!

Hannah is now her precious, prefect little self. She had quite a recovery but we are so very thankful for God’s healing touch. Hannah’s Dad, my brother Matt, performed the ceremony. He performed Courtney and Drew’s wedding, as well.  We’ve decided it’s now a family tradition. There’s only 12 more grandchildren to go. :)

The wedding was sweet and perfect. I can now add wedding coordinator to my “I’ve done that!” list.

Another special memory from Josh and Libby’s wedding. Isn’t this precious?

See that adorable Bride and Groom Table in the corner? More on how that came about and reception details coming up next.

You can see more of the Josh and Libby’s wedding decor here and here.

What a great day! Your niece is lovely. Gray was the “it” color for weddings this year. My only niece was married in June and that was her color, too.

This is so special! Thank you for beautifully capturing so many memories from Josh and Libby’s wedding!!

You were a fantastic wedding coordinator, in addition to decorator, florist, and photographer. Your calm demeanor kept ME from stressing out. Thank you so much for everything you did for Libby! I love you, seestor (as Court and Ka would say!)

  6. Beautiful in every way! Great job, Aunt Sonya! xoxo I am sure this is the first of many weddings for you. And thank you so much for sharing, I can’t wait to hear more about that table. So sweet to see them praying together, unseen. xoxo
