Today you’re invited on a mini Christmas Tour of a home you may recognize.
Three years ago, during my first Christmas as a blogger, I visited Tim and Elizabeth’s home just as it was all decked out for an upcoming Christmas Home Tour.
Merry and Bright and Gorgeous!
As luck would have it, I recently delivered some updated valances (which you’ll see a peek of here but more details coming soon) right in time for Christmas. Again!
And I just happened to have my camera!
Elizabeth was so gracious to let me snoop around her home taking tons of pictures!
If you take a look a the Family Room before you may notice a colorful change above her mantle.
And as I look at these pictures I’m remembering so much more I didn’t get photos of!
I was too busy just soaking it all in! I may have to go back.
In this previous post you can see how Elizabeth lightened the mood of her dining room by replacing her traditional window treatments with a more casual burlap pair.
Tim’s has a Nativity collection that spans the Globe. I think Elizabeth said they’re at 118 and counting!
Tim’s collection includes traditional Nativities from many different countries…
as well as less traditional Nativities with many different characters!
This recent, very less traditional addition to the collection, was hard to resist.
While Elizabeth’s Santa collection isn’t quite as impressive, it’s perfectly displayed here along the kitchen counter.
Notice how Elizabeth used the large colorful C-9 bulbs on her tree. Love that!
If you look close between these photos and the ones of their Christmas Open House, Kitchen and Family Room from 3 years ago you’ll see a few changes here and there. New floors, painted pieces and an update to her old window treatments.
I promise to share all the details on the updated valances soon. Something to look forward to in January.
