Today you’re getting bonus. I’m sharing 5 different window treatments at once.
5 different variations of similar window treatments you’ve seen here on the blog.
1. Cuffed Cafe Curtain
This first one is one of my all time favorites. A favorite for 3 reasons.
- The style – cafe curtain
- The fabrics – velvet and a roughly textured, linen-like fabric
- The color – that rich smokey blue
The body of the cafe curtain is an oatmeal colored fabric beautifully woven & textural.
I love this shade of blue. A rich, grayish slate blue. Of course the shimmery, napped aspect of the velvet adds to the luscious feel of this fabric. We finished this sweet little kitchen curtain with a purchased ribbon fringe.
2. Cotton Sheer Cuffed Cafe Curtain
Pattern variations of this ivory cotton sheer have been around for quite a while. I’ve shared other examples of this cotton sheer with velvet, used in the master bathroom, in a living room and with a cuff and ties instead of rings just to mention a few.
For this cafe curtain, made for a laundry room, we paired the sheer with a patterned cuff, a purchased brown pleated ruffle and a blue crinkle ruffle.
3. Roman Shade with Board mounted Valance and Jabots.
The valance and jabot portion of this window treatment was moved from Tara’s previous home to her new guest bedroom and happened to perfectly fit this window. We found a coordinating green and brown animal print and made a roman shade to add privacy and light control.
4. Cafe Curtain with Beaded Fringe
This simple little kitchen cafe curtain is made from a sheer gauze fabric that features a hemp embroidered pattern and embellished with a beaded fringe.
5. Pinch Pleated Floor Length Panels with an Attached Valance
This window treatment and the previous cafe curtain hang in adjoining rooms. The cafe curtain in the kitchen with these floor length panels in the living room. The attached valance is pinch pleated but due to the thickness of the fabrics almost appears as a goblet pleat.
The valance is approximately 24″ long where the lower edge is finished with a purchased ribbon trim. This pleated trim is the same as the one used on the above cafe curtain but in a different colorway.
