All this guest bathroom lacked was a window treatment.
Something simple yet charming to soften the existing blinds and add that finished touch.
The black and ivory shower curtain gave the room plenty of pattern so I chose a sheer ivory curtain and added just one simple detail to make this little curtain POP!
This window is quite small and sits very close to the shower and shower curtain. So I decided to draw the curtain back to one side and add a black satin ribbon to the lead edge and along the hem.
The end result is a surprisingly sophisticated little curtain that adds immense charm to this room!
I wavered on which side the curtain should be drawn back. I think either side would have been a good choice but I liked the idea of walking into the room and seeing the ribbon trim side of the curtain.
The upper portion of the curtain was pinch pleated and installed using clip rings and an inexpensive black rod from Target.
I know I say this all the time but I LOVE the way this little guy turned out! So simple yet so CUTE!
This window treatment for Tara’s Master Closet was the first time I’d used this particular ribbon detail but it was too cute not to use again.
