This week I came down with a horrendous case of Organize-itis. My symptoms varied in severity but included…
Fever to clean out, get rid of or throw away anything and everything not needed, loved or necessary to our happiness.
Hallucinations like contemplating January as a perfectly acceptable month for a garage sale even if the high is 39 degrees.
Unexpected bouts of super human strength by hauling all the Christmas boxes to the attic myself because I wanted it out of the way NOW as in RIGHT-THIS-MINUTE and I wouldn’t wait for anyone to help me.
Delusions in assuming the 150+ things I wanted to do could be accomplished in 3 days when in actuality it may take 3 years. These 150+ things included ideas like repainting 2 bedrooms & a bathroom, cleaning out the garage, posting multiple ebay listings to sell one-man’s-trash-is-another-man’s-treasure items, organizing my photos & replacing old photos with new ones in frames, freezer meals for a month and other like minded activities.
Even my computer was not exempt from the clearing out process. The slightly random but hopefully inspiring photos in today’s post are images I’ve been planning to use but never could find the right angle to write about. So they’ve become my Hello 2014 post.
